...according to some technology website or other. I remember the days when you had a mobile for emergency calls and that was it even texting was rare. Now these new phones have cameras, internet, music, and games, and who knows what else on them. Does anybody have an i phone? Are they worth all the hype?

Irish writer Eoin Colfer is going to write another installment of Douglas Adams Hitch Hiker series of novels, it says in the Gaurdian today. I am a big fan of the series so I can’t decide if this will be a good thing as I get to read more about teh characters or a bad thing because nobody can write like Adams would have or see the world like he did. I think they should probably let it lie or if anybody is going to do it it should be Steven Fry…

The latest in the big brother state is that they are planning to track peoples car journeys with number plate recognition cameras and keep the data for 5 years. No doubt they say its so they can improve the road networks and public transport but is it just another way to keep tabs on us?
