I read a readers letter in one of the national tabloids last week that did not make sense to me. It read that "We should end this farce of putting back the clocks by 1 hour and so stay on British Summer Time ,that way we can all save one hours electricity every day" altering the clock does not alter the times of sunrise and sunset so how can it save us all an hours energy a day? Especially as people work so many varied and unusual hours…

Most people that I have asked say that the BBC is a biased organisation, taking a strong pro- establishment line on almost any issue, especially the drug, dairy and meat industries. As they are known by various names such as the bent broadcasting corporation, the biased broadcasting corporation,the bush and blair chorus etc.etc. I would be very interested in what other posters have to say about this .
