They are a lovely sight, cheers me up to see him each morning, though yesterday I got a bigger surprise as there was a fox sitting in the field sunning himself!

I have a robin that waits for me in a morning where I walk my dogs. I save my food scraps and it’s always sat there waiting for the day’s tasty morsels!

I did watch some of Autumnwatch, loved watching the deer, some of the noises they make are very unusual. My son was off school today with the usual winter ailment, took him for a walk this afternoon and he got quite a good view of 2 of them feeding in a field, too far away for them to be bothered with us, so they just mooched around. Also been watching some re-runs of Wildlife SOS, they feature a lot of deer too.

I’m happy to say that the deer I usually see are alive and well and have been spotted numerous times over the last couple of weeks.
