Visually stunning – Musically A little wet! Mr Depp’s characterisation of Sweeny was (as usual) brilliant and Alan Rickman was fantastically dark (if a little Snape like…He was just missing the wand and the cape!) but the star of the show for me was HBC. She outsang and out acted both of the men!
Go with an open mind and you’ll enjoy it

I was lucky enough to see an advanced preview of this last night at the Odeon in Hull and I must say that I really enjoyed it.
Having gone into this film with an open mind and very little knowledge of the storyline I was pleasantly surprised.
An endearing tale of teenage pregnancy ensued, carefully tackling the problems Juno (played by Ellen Page) faces in her struggle weather or not to keep the baby then the problems that follow her pregnancy…

I was a bit ambivalent about this film. The visual shots of the desolate city were amazing but I thought the storyline was a little weak and that the directors had sacrificed depth in character for explosive effects. Overall I did enjoy it (purely for the visuals) but not one i’ll be following up on DVD. 3 out of 5
