I tried to add this picture to my other post about the Bridlington Eye, but couldn’t.
This is a picture of the view I got as I went over the top of the Bridlington Eye. I was holding on tightly as it was very windy.

I took a trip down memory lane last week and went to Bridlington. We used to go as a family for our summer holiday. There is a museum in Bridlington called Old Penny Memories Museum where they house all the old penny slot machines and the laughing sailor, Jolly Jack. I always remember being intrigued by the laughing sailor and stood watching him many a time when I was young.
It brought back so many lovely memories. I had completely forgotten…

You’re welcome. I think it is difficult reading something in isolation, but I must admit, I was hooked on that. It reminded me of how I felt when I was reading the beginning of Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons. The same sort of suspense as ‘oh my God, what’s going to happen now.’ I love books that you just can’t put down, because you need to know what is happening.
All the best,
Rosy

I’ve finally got around to reading your piece.
It’s great. I love it. It:-
-draws you in
-has suspense
-gets you thinking
-leaves you wanting more
-has good style, what I call intricate as opposed to broad.
Taken out of context I think it is very good and I would be interested in seeing the finished product.
What does anyone else think?
Hope you have a publisher in mind.
