Carol Vorderman has recently revealed that the stress of losing her Countdown job has made her pile on the pounds. She admitted that she had put on close to a stone after a ‘re-tox’ period where she has binged on food.

Once more, a young child has suffered horrific injuries caused by an uncontrolled dog. Yesterday,a two-year-old boy was attacked by a dog outside a Hull takeaway on Orchard Park Road.
