An update on this Woodpigeon’s nest is that the first nest failed – it collapsed! They’re not the best nest-builders in the bird world from what I have seen but you can’t help but admire their determination! Of course you’re right, Colombo – I think it was Windowleen I was thinking of.I can remember my mam using newspaper for the windows and us kids, well we also used it, but it wasn’t for the windows…and this was a well-deserved fate for some newpapers, according to my dad!
