A Beverley resident has launched a campaign to stop the bells at the Minster chiming through the night. Tom Walker, who lives in the shadow of the building says the bells are stopping his family from sleeping.
He has created a petition calling for the bells – which ring every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day – to stop between 10pm and 8am. He has submitted the e-petition to the Downing Street website…
