This object was found by a relative who wondered if I could find out anything about it. It is the same size as a two-pence piece, very thin and a head on one side (no discernible writing)and ‘France’s Day 1917’ with what appears to be the remains of a word ‘olton’ (possibly Bolton?)on the other side. It has obviously been punched/drilled for wearing at some point. Anyone out there any ideas?
