I’d stay where I am now as I havae good neighbours. I would love to buy a house nearer to where I live for the youngest and her son, as the area she lives in is going down the pan fast.

I have friends in Whitby and we stayed at their house in Summer it was lovely and a wonderful place to live.
I would buy a place that was nice and remote like an old victorian cottage somewhere.

I`m with you on this Olly. I`d love to design my own eco friendly house. I already have it planned in my head, at least 3 bedrooms plus a games room for the `kids` and a study/craft room for me. Just can`t decide where to put it. Quite fancy overlooking Robinhoods bay but maybe the Lakes or a scottish loch.

I would buy a cruise around the Somali coast for one very deserving member of my near community and then very happily stay put. To add to the happiness thus created for myself and the rest of my excellent neighbours I would then set about helping them and my beloved city at large to get on. One major priority, if funds would stretch, would be helping all our local folk who are still suffering the effects of the floods, which would mean a considerable amount of rehousing. And, for complete happiness, if it was a really big Euro type win, I would invest through our local Chamber Of Commerce. Ho hum, if only, eh?

I would make sure my Family were taken care of. Then I would make our Dreams come True? My Wife would like an animal sanctuary and I would like to look at helping the community in some way (like the Secret millionaire) Then I would give to charities? I’ve spent most of the last 44 years abroad, so I don’t have the same fear of travel & change as the average UK resident. The UK is a fine place to live, but other places are just as good, particulary the countries of the old commomwealth.
