ok, its true there are far too many bad cyclists on our roads, but to be fair there is a fundamental flaw in cycle lanes on our roads, very often these lanes accomodate parked cars and pot holes and a host of other dangers, cycle lanes are far too dangerous for our children with heavy goods vehicles, buses, and lets face it "far too many cars" passing to within inches of the cyclists. I post this knowing the risk I take of being slated by forum members… but here goes anyway.
