   The first one caught will be shown as an example and those responsible for stopping and imposing fines will soon grow tired and find something else to do!

   There is supposed to be laws which state that cyclists get fined but it rarely happens.

   That’s not true Mike, if the cyclist looks like a lily-livered liberal, they will be stopped and fined. But if they are dangerous looking they will be permitted to continue on their way unmolested.

   The last two posts have absolutly nothing to do wiht litter.It shows a very short attension span as there have been only a total of 4 replies. Anyway, Thursday is have a go at cyclists day.

   To get the story right Pete, the young mother dropped a piece of sausage roll she was trying to feed to her child and the pigeons ate it,a paper bag was not mention in the news report.

   Everyone should take their litter home but they don’t, I smoke and I carry a small portable ashtray with me for my tab ends and my rubbish goes in the nearest bin, its not rocket science.

   If we all taught our kids to use a litter bins then we wouldn’t have to have discussions like this..:)

   I drove down Beverley-by-pass last month just after all the hedge rows had been cut. The amount of litter along there was unbeliveable. Where did it all come from, it’s in the middle of nowhere. Must have been thrown out of car windows.

   Sat down for a rest on a bench in town. Sat near to me was a young couple with a small child in a pushchair. When they got up to leave they left a plastic bag on the seat full of rubbish.

   I called to them to say they had left the bag the reply "oh" its just rubbish, I pointed to the bin next to the bench, their reply is unprintable but it bagan with f and ended off.

   Needless to say with my feathers ruffled I put their rubbish in the bin.

    I would rather swim naked through Piraña than tell other folk’s kids not to do this or that. A small minority of kids are quite insane.

    they should go round to greenwich ave, on a lunch time after the school kids have been, it looks like a rubbish dump, i was there one day with my mother in law and witnessed a young lad just throw is litter onto the ground, well i couldnt but help myself, I pointed out to him and his friends that there were bins near him to put his litter in and guess what i was told "dont want to put anyone out of a job" to which my response was, "it costs nothing to have manners and if you were my son I would clipped you round the ears" to which his response was "I would like to see you try it granny", well at the point it took me all my patience not to answer him, so I just got in my car and drove off.

    The enforcement officers will not target people like 6ft tall 18 year old men. Too scary.

    They will target women and old ladies.

    The council are a joke. The pidgeons eat up half the stuff anyway. And if there is rubbish, someone should be doing their job picking it up, instead of stalking people and giving out fines.

    We have wheely bin inspectors checking people bins aren’t open at a certain angle.

    Its Browns communist state.

    Colombo- in 1903, Lenin called his group within the Socialist International the Bolsheviks( Majority) even though it was a vociferous and ruthless minority. He called it Democratic Centralism.

    20,000 of his erstwhile large minority went on to enslave a great empire of 160 millions . Minorities are not always minor, and majorities not always major.

    "Fair and equal" societies surprisingly often are buried by their creators. Confusing, isn’t it?|
