I had a perfectly good laptop with Windows XP, which had been fine for 5 years. I made the mistake of leaving the automatic updates on, and last week it downloaded the lastest service pack for XP. It seems that despite there technically no longer being social classes in the UK it’s still a term widely used.

Do you believe in the class system, is it only certain people who follow a class system?

I was taught that people fought and worked hard to abolish such notions. The culture of indulgence over the last few decades has surely blurred the three typical class lines of upper, middle and lower class?

Publicity stunt or move a towards healthier menu’s? Pizza Hut is now Pasta Hut, or at least some of it’s branches have been rebranded to reflect an attempt to serve up pasta and salads.

I love Pizza Hut mostly for the all you can eat buffet and I’m not convinced we need yet another chain offering up bog standard pasta. It feels like regressing to the 90’s.

On the 10th of September, the Large Hadron Collider will be switched on at the CERN facility in Geneva. Streams of protons, accelerated to just below the speed of light, will be smashed into one another in a bid to recreate the conditions just after the big bang which resulted in the Universe.
