I have just driven along Spring Bank for the first time in weeks and found the old gents urinal on the corner of Princes Avenue & Spring Bank has been teleported to some unknown planet in a far off galaxy…..!
Someone told me it was taken under the cover of darkness so questions were not possible.
I always thought it was a ‘protected building’?
Any thoughts anyone?

Has anyone traced the forces past of family members?
Work done on my family tree shows family members who have been in the army and the RAF, I would like to add the details of their careers, placements and ranks to the existing information to give a fuller profile. I’m not sure where to begin tracing this information.

To be rolled out in Sept 09, our beloved libdems council have decided we need to pay for recycling. I have just received a form through the post and one of the questions on it was, do I mind paying for recycling?. What do you think my answer is? A big fat NO!!!! The greed of this council never ceases to amaze me.

The biggest news to break in recent years is still only just sinking in and many must still feel in denial that it really has happened.
Everyone remembers where they were when Princess Diana died and the surreal feel that most of us experienced when we woke to the news in the small hours of that fateful morning in late August all those years ago. Once again I am feeling that strange surreal "death of Diana" sensation having learned of the death…

Well I thought I’d seen the ultimate in Hull’s weird insularity with those ‘informal’ crossings on Newland which even the Council don’t the know the legality of until a case involving an accident on one comes to court. On a trip to Hull this weekend I was amazed by the matrix sign mounted on the pavement just past the Scully Lane junction with Bev Rd. facing you as you drive toward North Hull, I believe it read ‘DANGER SLOW DOWN PEDESTRIANS’ Maybe…
