Children are being invited to dig through the undergrowth and discover the world of insects. A ‘minibeast safari’ tour will take place at the Humber Bridge Country Park nature reserve on Tuesday, August 12.

The event is suitable for children aged from five to 11 and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Those taking part should meet at The Black Mill on Hessle Foreshore for one of the day’s two sessions, which will take place from 10.30am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

Tickets cost £1.50 per child and adults can attend for free. Advance booking is essential. For more information or to book a place, call Countryside Events on (01482) 395321.
