I went in to Manor farm for a meal and drink last night and they refused to serve me a drink. I had proof of ID (citizencard) which is a photographic ID recognised by Police and Trading standards and they still refused me. it also has the PASS logo on it.
they told me they only accepted Passports and driving licensces. Now surely everyone over 18 does not have a driving liscence or passport like myself. nor do i see a reason to buy one just…

Are we ever going to get a proper park and ride in hull? I mean one without pot holes in the ground like the one that I fell in on sunday while I was at the market. One minute I was walking along carrying my plants the next I was on my knees on the ground! It was only then that I noticed the state of the ground there are huge holes all over the place. its about time we got a proper park and ride like the one in york scarborough and other towns.

IS ANYONE BUT ME BOTHERED ABOUT THE YELLOW LINES DUE TO GO DOWN ON ROSEDALE GROVE AND THE SURROUNDING STREETS TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR THE NO. 48 BUS.I ACCEPT IT IS A NECESSARY ROUTE FOR THE ELDERLY TO GET TO AND FROM TOWN,BUT IT RUNS DURING THE DAY WHEN VERY FEW CARS ARE PARKED DOWN THE STREETS,SO WHY CANT IT BE LEFT AS IT IS ENABLING US TO PARK DURING THE DAY AND NIGHT WITHOUT RESTRICTION?

Every home in Hull will be given a new kitchen waste bin so families can recycle their food scraps. The proposed £6.7m scheme will see every household – an estimated 100,000 – provided with a kitchen “caddie” and roll of biodegradable bags.
This waste would be collected alongside a new service to pick up garden rubbish.

Street lights could be switched off at night across the East Riding to cut soaring energy costs. The council is considering the move because its energy costs are expected to rise by 18 per cent to more than £3m this year.
