Yep there is indeed an Eastmount Carnival, which we must presume is organised by the people within the Eastmount complex, we are of course fully supported by our local councillors, who again, we must presume, are fully in agreement with said carnival, the disruption it will cause to traffice in the area, the noise from the fun fair and circus and the general inconvenience. But then of course none of our councillors actually reside in Longhill…

Does anyone know about Carnival/Circus coming to Eastmount first week in July? Spoken to police and apparently a VERY LARGE event is planned that the local residents and council know nothing about. It is so large they are removing fencing to get the rides into the centre. This event means increased traffic/parking and speeding along the roads, in particularly Waveney Road. Very loud music and noise late at night, loads of rubbish lying…
