On July 27th the Garden Village Summer fete will bre taking place on The Oval. As weel as the Summer fete, and because the Garden Village is 100 years old this year, a number of events have been planned to celebrate this historical event. A re-enactment of the original opening ceremony will take place, followed by a series of historical walks around the village when stories about life in the village over the last 100 years will be acted out. Lets hope that the events of last year are not repeated this year!
