During the past year I have spent a great deal of time researching the mysterious crimes committed in Whitechapel, London 1888. I discovered that 8 of the named suspects had links with Kingston Upon Hull!!!
Anyone with an intrest in local history, crime, the Victorian period, or Jack the Ripper is welcome.

Queen Victoria visted Hull in 1854, staying at the newly built Royal Station Hotel, before listening to the Hull Sunday School children performing, and visiting the Hull Docks, aboard her Royal Yacht.

But how many people are aware she was listed as a suspect in the Jack the Ripper" crimes of 1888?
