This section of Your Mail puts you in control. It’s literally "All Yours". Only people you choose to join your group can respond to your posts, but everybody can see them and, if they want to, can ask for your permission to join.

We are a group of volunteers who began by wanting to preserve the Carnegie Library near the Anlaby Road entrance to West Park as an asset for the community, the old library is now open two and a half days per week as a heritage centre.

Along with many other old buildings that form part of Hull’s heritage the Carnegie Heritage Information Centre will be open to the public for four days during September giving everyone an opportunity to see what is often hidden from public view.
We hope you will be able to find the time to pop in and enjoy this special place between 10am and 4pm on September 11th, 12th, 13th or 14th.

On the first Sunday of every month the group meets for a relaxed and informal discussion about local history. Very often there is a speaker, the most recent was a Hull lady who has written and published her autobiography, in the past the group has helped choose short films which are to be digitally preserved by the Yorkshire Film Archive.
An interesting way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon, in the lovely Carnegie building 1.30pm…
