Meet The Ample Family
Hello, I’m Ann X Ample, I’m married to Philip and we have 7 year old twins Thomas and Ewan. I have a daughter Rachael, 22, from my first marriage and Philip has a son Robert, 28 and a daughter Fiona, 24, from his first marriage.
My daughter Rachael White works as an air hostess and is getting married to Ian Hill on July 5th in New York. She is busy preparing for the wedding.
Robert lives and works in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with his wife Rebecca, 27, and their daughter Carmen Elizabeth, 3. Robert works in a toy manufacturing industry and is interested in horse racing and golf.
Fiona is in her final year of a law degree at Leeds University and is hoping to take a gap year and travel to New Zealand and Thailand when she finishes her course in July this year.
I’ve set up my family as I think it will be a great way to keep in touch with each other. At last I can see what they are all getting up to. I think this will be an easy way to keep in touch as all our family are scattered throughout the UK and abroad. So throughout the weeks, you too, can view what our family is getting up to.
This group is public and can be viewed by everyone but can only be posted to by its members.

Hi everyone,
I’m really looking forward to seeing you all in July. I’ve attached a photograph of where Ian and I are getting married and I’ve put a link so that you can see your hotel, which is not far from the Cathedral where I’m getting married.

I’ve attached a picture of our friends, Cecilia and Morris on a Camel. They really enjoyed it, but there is no way you would get me on a camel. I took them on the Dubai Horse Racing Tour which was really good. It was a tour of the stables. We saw horses in training and had a guided walk of the stables. We then moved onto the Nad Al Sheba Club, venue of the world’s richest horse race – the Dubai World Cup, followed by a full English breakfast…

If you can remember when you visited us last year, the shopping here is terrific. I’m posting this picture for Rebecca of some clothes she is after. She took Carmen and our friends Cecilia and Morris shopping when they came to stay. As you know I hate shopping, but I met up for lunch with them afterwards at the Cafe Trottoir – do you remember Ann, the beautiful cafe you really liked, especially Cake Corner?

Hi all,
Hope you are all ok.
I went to see Tiger Woods at the Dubai Desert Classic a few weeks ago. He won. It was his 7th win in eight tournaments. I met him briefly to talk to. He was a very nice guy.
