River Humber vantage points

Whilst roaming the outlying villages I spotted a view of the River Humber and Humber Bridge I’d not seen before.
It was a lovely evening and I stopped to take in the view, the next time I went with a friend who was equally as impressed with the view I realised that it was not a secret and met many people by the river side.

Hull’s flood barrier may not be the most aesthetically appealing in the world but it certainly is an important one, particularly in light of recent flooding in the area. It is surprising however how a makeover from mother nature with her infinite palette of light and collection of ever-changing skies can transform our view of things, giving them a drama and beauty all of their own.
